Tourism in Cameroon is an old but new concept as such lags behind in tourism to the rest of the world; this is because tourists have very little or no idea of the touristic potentials that are found in the country. It is endowed with magnificent touristic attractions which stand distinct from Africa and the rest of the world. In  that it has the largest wildlife reserve in Africa (Waza national park), relics of slave trade and abolition of slavery (Huts and canoon), the closest crater lake to the ocean in the world (Lake Nightingale), and also the second best botanical garden in Africa containing 150 species of flora not found else where in the world
